To lose a loved one to death is devastating. The lives of those left behind change forever. The time following the death is dominated by decisions and arrangements. Heartache and deep emotional pain stays part of daily living.

The Bible gives us guidelines for mourning. Death feels dark and without hope, but God is light and there is no darkness in Him. Give yourself time to mourn. Don’t make hasty decisions.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.
